Education
Through Education, the DMA strives to ensure accurate representation of the Industry and its activities.
The UK Defence Industry is changing to reflect greater internationalisation and the influence of new technology on military requirements. New opportunities are arising from the increase in service and support activities devolved to the private sector from Governments and the obligations of Industrial Offset.
The DMA is actively involved in:
- increasing representation to Government
- influencing policy development affecting European defence rationalisation
- formalising existing links with equivalent trade associations in Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia
- expanding its market intelligence service
- developing an offset brokerage facility
- ensuring that Defence Industry issues are fairly reported by the media
