Backing UK Industry in the Military Marketplace
The Purpose of the UK Simulation and Training Action Group is to be the focus for:
Advice and Initiatives in support of the UK Simulation and Training Industry in the Defence Sector.
The purpose behind this Group is to provide opportunities for mutual co-operation, an up-to-date understanding of the MoD procurement organisation and help in Members gaining export business. It has the full support of the MoD, who are ex officio members. It is planned for the Group to meet 2 to 3 times a year, usually at the premises of one of the members. There is also the possibility to attend a number of international exhibitions as a Group with the view of reducing costs. The Chairman is selected annually together with a committee to organise events, and the DMA provides the Secretary and administration. The members receive all the benefits of the DMA's activities as full DMA members, including representation of members concerns to Government.
